MAG Process
Process Expertise That Drives Manufacturing Performance
MAG brings decades of manufacturing process expertise built on the heritage of world-renowned brands including Cross Hüller, Ex-Cell-O, Honsberg, and Lamb.
More than a machine tool supplier, MAG is a process-driven manufacturing partner capable of delivering complete production solutions, from part analysis and process development to tooling, fixturing, automation, system integration, and turnkey production lines.
With deep experience in automotive, e-mobility, commercial vehicle, aerospace, and industrial applications, MAG combines machining technologies such as milling, boring, honing, turning, and grinding into optimized manufacturing processes that maximize productivity, quality, and OEE.
MAG’s ability to integrate advanced process engineering, digital simulation, automation, and proprietary machine technologies enables customers to reduce cycle times, improve process reliability, and achieve faster time-to-production with a single source of responsibility.
Synergies from pre-machining and finishing from a single source
MAG provides the process chain for the complete machining of precise bores including honing. Characteristics of the newly developed complete machining of high-precision bores on machining centers is a combination of fine boring and honing on one machine. The formerly independent honing machine can thus be omitted. By optimizing and combining the fine boring and honing processes, a significant shortening of the processing time and a reduction in machining operations arise.
Process reliability and maximum machining precision
Today´s usual requirements for quality parameters such as size, form, position and surface tolerances can be achieved reliably.
